Demetra Carney, Columbia, MS
The most important thing about Demetra is she loves God with all her heart! The second is she is married to the most wonderful man, Jay Carney. The third, she and Jay have the greatest three kids ever created!
Demetra graduated from Jackson College of Ministries, where she later served as Dean of Music and coordinated National Music Ministry Conference. She produced two projects with NMMC. She served as Music Minister at Woodlawn Church for 15 years where she produced three choir projects, worked with chorales, ensembles, youth and kids groups, as well as taught piano and voice. Demetra also produced United Praise, a DVD of great gospel artist from around the United States.
She is assisting in leading Woodlawn’s Ladies Ministry, and along with her husband is involved in Soulmates, Woodlawns Young Marrieds group. She travels the US teaching choir clinics. She plans to home school her three children in the fall.
Jeremiah Sibley, Castroville, TX
Jeremiah Sibley lives in Castroville, Texas with DeAnna, his gorgeous wife of over 13 years, and his two beautiful daughters, Ajadiana and Jasnia. Since 2001, the Sibley's have served as senior pastor of Medina Valley Christian Worship, a growing church on the outskirts of San Antonio. Jeremiah has a passion for teaching – both music and the Word of God – and is still active in teaching weekly music lessons.
A graduate of Jackson College of Ministries where he studied under Dedie Cooley, Jeremiah's passion for jazz has fueled a unique approach to teaching and playing Pentecostal-style music. He has served as district youth president for the South Texas District UPCI since 2006, has taught at numerous music conferences and venues, and is the founding and lead instructor of BsharpTricks.com. This conference is his first trip to Washington state.
Sarah Seagraves, Bellevue, WA
Sarah Seagraves recently moved to Bellevue, WA from Alaska with her husband, Andrew, and their three children. Her life mainly revolves around homeschooling Morgan, Chestin, and Preston; growing, learning, and changing alongside them. The past 9 years Sarah has been privileged to be a part of Alaskan Summer Missions Teams, bringing the gospel to Southeast and Bush Alaska.
Sarah attended Christian Life College for 3 years, receiving her AA degree in Christian Education. While enrolled she served as secretary to the Director of Student Recruitment, a position that helped prepare her for a life of ministry alongside her husband.
She is actively involved in the ministry of Sanctuary of Praise, leading the Ladies Ministry Team. She enjoys the work of the Lord and eagerly anticipates what this new chapter in their life will bring.
Andrew Seagraves, Bellevue, WA
Andrew Seagraves recently moved to Bellevue, WA with his wife Sarah and their three children: Morgan, Chestin, and Preston. He is working with pastor Kern as a staff member at Sanctuary of Praise after 15 years of ministry in AK. Upon receiving his B.A. from Christian Life College he served as assistant to the pastor in Vancouver, WA from 1993-1996 before accepting the pastorate in Homer, Alaska.
While in Alaska, Andrew served in many Alaska – Yukon district offices including: Youth Secretary, Youth President, and Apostolic Man director. While ministering in Alaska, he worked in the construction supply business, banking, financial trust, and the oil/gas industry.
His family’s arrival in Bellevue is a fulfillment of a long held desire and burden for Sanctuary of Praise.
Tres Clark, Bend, OR.
Tres Clark began playing the drums at his home church at the age of thirteen. He continued to play the drums at Jackson College of Ministries while receiving his B.A in Theology. While he was at Bible College he was given oppertunity to play on several live albums and teach numurous drum clinics as well.
Rev. Tres Clark and his wife Amanda currently reside in Bend, Oregon where they pastor a home missions church.
Kenneth Bow, Lake Tapps, WA.
Kenneth Bow accepted the call to First Pentecostal Church of Puget Sound as Senior Pastor in January of 1999. He brings over 25 years of full time ministry experience to FPC.
Pastor Bow pioneered a church in Canada, Pastored in California, and traveled nationwide in evangelistic crusades and revivals. He is still active in speaking at special meetings and seminars nationwide.
He began full time ministry in 1976 at the age of 23. He is now an ordained minister affiliated with the United Pentecostal Church. He has preached and ministered in 11 countries around the world.
Paul Boles, Lakewood, WA.
Paul Boles was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. He has been involved with audio mixing, video production and engineering since the age of 13. He received a degree in Electromechanical Engineering in 1990.
Over the past 20 years, he has been involved with projects that have been from $200 all the way to upwards of $2 million. He has continued to study all advances in the audio / video industry - including video production, lighting and systems design.
In 2004, God called Paul and his wife, Cheryl, to Washington. In 2008, they were able to relocate. In 2010 He received his Local Ministers License from the U.P.C. Over the past year, he has been able to work in several of the local U.P.C churches bringing out the " Utmost for His Highest " through their A/V systems. He feels blessed to be apart of the Elevate Music Workshop and always strives for a standard of excellence.
Amber Hadden is married to Evangelist Tim Hadden. They have a two-year-old son named Corrigan. They have been evangelizing full time since May of 2010.
Before evangelizing, Amber was the full-time Music Director at The Sanctuary in Bessemer, Alabama, pastor Todd Bertram where Tim also fulfilled the role of Youth Pastor.
Amber graduated from Jackson College of Ministries in 2004 with a BA in Music, and she also has an AA in Court Reporting from Gadsden State Community College.
Cheryl Boles was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. She started playing an old broken down piano in church at the age of 7, and was then coaxed into playing the Hammond B3 at altar call, since back then, the altar call was much longer. She has also been blessed with playing with the Boston Brass, backing up Cathy Hernandez, Denver Standford, Henry Wasserman, Hilary and Cheryl Noble. Amazing accomplishments at such a young age!
She gives all the credit to God for her musical abilities on the piano, organ, guitar, mandolin and drums.
Cheryl attended Indiana Bible College in 1997, and was again blessed to sing on the "Glory and Honor" choir CD release, and also on the Calvary Apostolic Church 50 year anniversary Choir CD.
Over the last 30 years, she has sang and lead numerous duets, trios, quartets and choirs. Cheryl is currently working on her first CD release “Music at the Altar” a worship CD.
Since God called Cheryl and her husband Paul to Washington State in 2008, She has been the Music Director at Lakewood UPC, and has started a church drama team that does dowel rods and sign language to music. In addition to all this, she is a Certified Pharmacy Technician, and a Certified Herbologist. She thanks GOD for HIS calling on her life, and looks forward to all HE has in store for her!
